Q: Who are the members of your band, and what instruments do they play?
A: Kris – vocals and guitar
Ryan – guitar
Calli – vocals and keys
Ben – bass
Shane – vocals and guitar
Q: How long has the band been active?
A: Little Winter was formed in 2007 by members Kris Adamson, Ben Adamson, and Ryan Weisse. Little Winter spent their first few years patiently shaping their sound, experimenting with blends of country, rock, folk and pop, collecting songs along the way. With the addition of Calli Adamson (keyboards, cello, vocals) and Amber Adamson (drums) in 2009, the band started taking those songs to the public. Since Adamson’s departure in 2010, the group is frequently accompanied by drummers CJ Hanson, Joel Lunsetter, and Bill Kezar.
Shane started playing with the band about two years ago. Before then, he had done a few solo shows.
Q: What kind of music does the band play? How would you describe its sound?
A: Little Winter plays Americana and alternative country, while Shane gets a lot of influence from 90’s artists as well as modern singer/songwriters.
